NQ Water has commenced replacement of a water supply pipeline from Pallarenda to Bolger Bay on Magnetic Island.

NQ Water wishes to advise that fenced compounds will be established in the roadside reserve at the southern end of Pallarenda for the storage of pipe and construction facilities.   The erection of these compounds will cause the temporary closure of Beach Access 16 at Pallarenda.

An alternative is at beach Access 17 immediately north of the compound, directly opposite Morrell St.

The public will be notified of other activities relative to the works in due course.
